In the last few years, the atmosphere of our country was very much populated and there were some cities where breathing became too difficult like Delhi, Kanpur, etc. Pollution in cities was at its peak whose consequences were visible to all of us. That is why we took initiative for environmental awareness and run various on a large scale.
Firstly, Gangnath Youth Foundation participated to aware a large number of people for swachh Bharat Abhiyan by cleaning the outer area of Palam railway station. GYF came forward and cleaned and painted the outer walls of Palam railway station. Our Youth volunteers took part and cleaned the whole area outside and planted a number of trees over there. Through this, we motivated and appreciated our contribution to society and pledged to make the clean and green.
Secondly, we initiated a Go Green Delhi signature campaign aims to aware the school students and general public about the importance of greenery. The campaign held at various places in Delhi like Kendriya Vidyalaya JNU, KV Vasant Kunj, Private schools, Palam metro station, India Gate etc where everyone took swachhta pledge to use plantable products and save our environment and not to use single use plastic. Through the campaign students get the knowledge about how to be a part to clean and green our environment by using plantable products like T-shirts, plantable pen pencils, jute bags which was distributed among all the students and teachers.
Thirdly, we initiated a campaign named Clean and Green Plastic free Delhi held at various market places like Dwarka sec-6, Palam market, Mangla Puri sabzi mandi etc where products like jute bags, steel water bottle distributed among the drivers, hawkers, vegetable vendors, shopkeepers etc to motivate them to not to use single use plastic to save our environment.
